AH Design Group, located in Northern New Jersey, is a full service interior and exterior design firm specializing in new constructions, full renovations and custom homes.

Hands on approach

Unlike many other design firms, we take a hands on approach and check in at our projects on a regular basis to ensure everything is being done correctly and to perfection.

Because we don’t subscribe to one specific design aesthetic, we are able to envision and conceptualize projects ranging across the full spectrum from modern to transitional to traditional.

With extensive knowledge of the construction process, we get involved in the very early stages from the architectural planning to the framing process.

Ariella

As founder and principal designer of AH Design Group, Ariella Horowitz oversees all the design that makes its way into our clients’ beautiful homes. Over the years, Ariella has designed countless chic, sophisticated and innovative interiors and exteriors. Her meticulous and thoughtful approach ensures that she makes a statement in every space. Her eye for detail and dedication to perfection is evident in each room she touches, leaving her mark wherever she goes. Ariella takes her motto, “Design with Distinction” into play when designing each and every space. Every home Ariella designs is unique and custom to itself.

Alex

With a foundation in both interior and graphic design, Alex brings over 10 years of experience in the field of high end interior design and custom carpentry manufacturing.

Alex combines his technical expertise with a creative approach to craft spaces that are both functional, thinking of every meticulous detail and how the space will be used by the client. Specializing in ceiling designs, custom cabinetry, and wall paneling, Alex is known for meticulously tailoring each project to reflect the client’s personal style and vision. From concept to completion, Alex focuses on creating unique, custom spaces with character and depth.

Sam

Born and raised in rural Sussex County, NJ, Sam spent most of her childhood riding horses and had a passion for interior design from a young age. Sam received a BFA from the New York School of Interior Design and began her career at a commercial design firm. After making the transition to residential design with AH Design Group in 2021, she realized that this is where she belongs. While Sam loves curating a whole home’s furniture and lighting to create the perfect atmosphere for our clients, space planning and mapping out the ideal architectural elements of a floorplan are her favorite challenges. “It’s truly fulfilling and makes me proud to know that we have such an impact on how our clients live happily and comfortably in their homes.”

Kelly

Kelly received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior design through an accelerated program from Berkeley College. The program allowed her to receive her degree in less than 3 years and get an early jump into the industry. Kelly grew up surrounded by family and friends in the construction field, which drove her passion for design. This has led her to focus more on the technical side of design, like creating custom cabinetry drawings and wall panel designs. “Residential design is what I love the most because we get the opportunity to create a functional space while tailoring it to the needs of each individual client. Most of us will spend a large portion of time at home throughout our lives, why not make it a space that you can truly love and enjoy.”

Chiara

Chiara is an interior designer with 6 years of experience helping clients transform their homes. Originally from Vermont, she graduated cum laude from Suffolk University.Her passion lies in understanding the clients’ unique visions and bringing them to life through thoughtful use of color, texture, and space planning. She believes in creating beautiful, functional interiors reflecting individual personalities and lifestyles. She enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her son, husband, and Cat when not designing.

Alexa

Alexa began her journey in interior design while working with a construction company that specializes in custom built homes. Her love for all things interior design quickly grew, and she decided to attend the CIDA-accredited Berkeley College, where she received her BFA. Alexa finds inspiration in mid-century modern & Japandi designers, such as Alex Vervoordt, Florence Knoll & George Nelson. Alexa is able to use these styles to create functional, aesthetically pleasing interiors that fit our clients’ needs.

Kailey

Kailey was born and raised in Kingston, NY. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Auburn University. Since her childhood, she’s been passionate about interior design, drawn to the idea of reimagining and improving the spaces around her. Once she discovered digital tools that allowed her to create 2D and 3D renderings, she knew this was the path she wanted to pursue in college and beyond. In her free time, she love spending quality time with family and friends.

Pranjal

Pranjal’s journey with design began long before she knew it would become her career. Back in high school she found joy in art and that passion grew when she chose to study interior design at Chitkara University, in Rajpura, India. Pranjal believes that every space has a story waiting to be told and she loves bringing that to fruition. She specializes in detail-oriented interiors that blend aesthetics with functionality. For Pranjal, design isn’t just a profession but where art meets purpose and she feels lucky to be part of that everyday.

Diana

Diana is a meticulous, task-driven Executive Administrative Assistant at AH Design Group with several years of administrative experience in managing client-centric office operations. She is equipped with the exceptional ability to facilitate all aspects of internal and external communications and support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions by working collaboratively with her co-workers. Diana’s proven talent for aligning business objectives with comprehensive administrative knowledge has helped AH Design Group achieve maximum operational impacts, conserve time and boost efficiency. Diana received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Rutgers University. She worked for a variety of large corporations over the past several years and decided to join AH Design Group because of her interest in interior design. When Diana is not busy working, she enjoys reading, cooking, playing with her dog Coco, as well as horseback riding.

Benny

Benny is an experienced accounting bookkeeper at AH Design Group. With a keen eye for details, his responsibilities include overseeing the overall financial data, ledger entries, and reports. His commitment to providing excellent service helps our company create and build a better business. Benny obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics from Brooklyn College. He began working as an assistant bookkeeper several years ago and was promoted to head our accounting department. He has also earned three certificates from accredited accounting course providers in New York. When he’s not organizing financial transactions, Benny participates in environmental cleanup in his community and also volunteers at some of the local food pantries.

Emma

With a strong foundation in business from Stern College and expertise in interior design developed through Design Alive, Emma expertly balances aesthetics and functionality. As Nate Berkus says, “Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love.” With attention to detail and a focus on functionality, Emma helps create a space that truly feels like home.
